Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I ran a test where I logged out and used a browser that was not signed in. I was able to enter a test jersey without having an account. The sheet is open to edit by anyone with the link - figured you guys are trustworthy enough :-D

For now, I'm just trying to spread the word appropriately in threads and keep this thread on the front page.

You don't need an account for an openly editable document.

My mistake, but the first time I clicked on the link, I had to sign in before I could enter my information. YMMV.

It does ask you to sign in - The Google is making it really hard to operate anonymously. I am pissed beyond hope about the attempted conversion of Picasaweb to Google+. They sure don't make it easy to just look at something without signing into something.

Bikes: Ones with 2 wheels...

In between sizes on the Bib side. Better to go smaller? Larger?

Also, lazy and don't want to read 9 pages. Club fit or race fit on the jerseys?

Sport fit - in between, but closer to race methinks. The girls at Primal recommended sizing down if you are a tweener in bibs. It would add a little compression, which is always good. It really depends on what side of the tween you sit on.

I'll take a pic in my Old Style jersey as soon as it dries from the morning work laundry I do in my sink. I have a L and an XL in thye same style, and while I can wear both comfortably, neither fits wrong. The XL is a little looser, but not at all baggy. I'll take pics in both this weekend actually.

See list compiled above of those who have said they are in...check it against those who have put their name on the spreadsheet.

Also here is the link to the original thread...I got up to page 9 in taking names.

Sizing down always motivates me to lose that weight I need to. Everyone carries their weight differently though. I think an XXL might fit you ok, but you'd want the tighter cut of the XL.

I know. Feeling kind of broke though. Everything in my house is breaking all at once. So are we looking at about $85 all said and done? $75 for the summer jersey and $10 for S&H?

Yeah, that's about right, plus tax since you are in CO. No pressure though. I am going to buy a few extra as Tom has said I can let them go later at face value without breaking forum rules.

RT, what is the total shipping, storefront, and freebie-for-the-organizers damage? I want to give the folks I PM the Summer jersey price (full zip), the Prisma bibs/shorts price and the total overhead add on so they will have a bottom line to decide on. As far as I am concerned those choices are fixed at this point. Let's just go for the commitments on those specific items. Thanks.

Use the price chart and assume lowest price on bibs. The more expensive one's will probably make this a jersey-only project. Colorado residents pay tax, no one else does. Here's the equation:

Jersey - $70 or $75
Bib (Prisma) - $90
Shipping - $10
enjoi's kit - He's only signed up for a jersey, but deserves a bib too

$170 or $175 for jersey + Prisma bib/short
$10 shipping
$170 (or $70/$75 for jersey only) divided by the number of participants
Tax for Coloradans
= ~$185-$190

Hope that's understandable :-)

And no one has to get the whole kit, they can just to jersey, or bib, or both. Minimum on hats is 50, so I doubt we'll do those.

Got it. But no charge for operating the ordering system? Was that only the other guys?

Yup. This is strictly $10 shipping and we get use of our own customized team site. Comes with the package.

RT, here is the note I sent out. I had to do it five names at a time due to site restrictions. I didn't send one to your or me, and three came back with wrong spelling, davlava, prospect, and kinji666. If you know the correct names for these, send them to me, and I will get the message to them. Let me know what items you will want so I can put them on my list. Thanks.

Folks, I have been assigned to compile the final list of who’s interested in the “41” jerseys, bibs/shorts, or full kits. Since your names all appeared on one or more posts expressing interest, I would appreciate if you would reply to me with a simple list of what you will want based on the following FINAL selections. I don’t need your size information. Save that for the ordering process. The supplier will be Primal, not Capo since Primal’s minima were lower.

Here are the selections:
Short sleeve jerseys with full zipper: Regular weight for $70 OR Summer weight for $75
Prisma model bibs or shorts (you choose): $90

Add to this $10 for shipping and $11.34 for a 1/15th share of the freebie kit for enjoi who provided us the design. I wish we could figure in advance the precise division of the freebie among the payers, but that just doesn’t appear to be possible. Note you pay only once for the shipping and/or the freebie even if you order more than one jersey, bib/shorts or both. Colorado residents will be responsible for sales tax.

So here is what it looks like delivered:
Regular jersey total = $91.34
Summer jersey total = $96.34
Bibs or shorts = $111.34
Regular jersey and bib or shorts = $181.34
Summer jersey and bib or shorts = $186.34

I know some of you have become impatient with the process of getting to this point, but we are ready to go now if we get at least 15 participants for either the jersey, bib/shorts or both. If you ever had any interest in participating, I urge you to throw in with us now. Just reply back with “Yes” or “No” and which items and how many you will order when the store is opened.
Thanks.
Robert

PS: Apologies for duplicate names or misspelled names. If I get any messages thrown back, I will try to make corrections. I will also post this note on the existing thread. I can only send to 5 addresses at a time, so I have to do this 9 times.

Let me know if there is anything else you need.

Robert

I appreciate the effort that RT, rpenmanparker, enjoi07, and David Broon have put into this. I'm very much "in" and hope we can make minimums. Danielle at Primal worked with us to reduce the minimums on shorts/bibs a bit so that might help out some for those who only want a jersey.

Cool, I think we can get to 15 jerseys easy, but the bibs/shorts may take longer. If you could, go to the sheet and add your interest on the appropriate tab(s).

RPP, thanks for taking care of that. Hoping that generates some interest!

Right now I have 10 yes responses for jerseys including blacksquid. Many responses have not come back. Let's wait a couple days more before appraising.
