I picked up an 2013 Expert Roubaix Disc a few weeks ago for 2700 after having the LBS call the CA warehouse to see what Roubaix was on closeout. In Hawaii where they sell above retail, so very happy.
Initial impressions:
As advertised, it is a very comfy bike for my commute, 16 miles one way and never sore, etc.
Does a great job of taming our crappy roads.
Super light after my C-Dale cx disc from 10 years ago.
Murdered out paint with nice red stripes is good combo.
The bad:
2013 Ultegra group shifts poorly compared to my 10 year old Ultegra.
Seems to be a common complaint. New 6800 Ultegra is supposed to be fine.
I hope yours has the 6800. Happy riding. Enjoy.

I think the suspension post is a great idea.
I had an old RockShox road suspension post on th C-dale and loved it. Was going to migrate it to the new, but stock post and saddle are great. Speaks well of the Roubaix frame compliance. Our roads are REALLY bad pavement. I may get a gobbler at some point in the future.

Very nice and I like the silver way more than the dull, ever present, boring black permeating the market. Were I to be in the market for a new bike this would be it.

Next up, is I need to pimp my ride. I can't see moving the 80's MTB bottle cages, swiped from my old Trek MTB and currently on my Sequoia, to the Roubaix for instance. Lord help me, I better go carbon there. And pedals! The Look KEO's on my Seq were bought because they were the cheapest the store had and were on sale on top of that. I'm putting those on a $3800 Roubaix?! I think not. And I want a small, light, yet daylight-visible (annoyingly so!) red blinker for the rear. I guess I'll slum the stock tires until at least the rear one is worn out. But then, am I putting a $24 tire on there like I recently put on my Seq?! No, no, no.
I see where this is going.

Carbon bottle cages get super dirty and nasty. The only reason I have mine is because they were "free". Go with the most minimalist / efficient design. The less you can see them the better, yet you want something that wont have you dropping your bottles.
Dont forget to get matching clothes! Assos / rapha is brand of choice but you might be able to get away with Giordanna... only if it is FormaRed though!
