Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It does seem that there would be a bit of an air scoop action holding things down a little bit like those american speedskaters were complaining about.

this thread will be much better if it just morphs into a Liz Hatch thread.

That would only invite photos of the Polish cycling team in retribution.

You guys posting these Liz Hatch photos realize the OP is female, right?

I don't think Liz Hatch qualifies as a female Fred.

I was trying to figure out how they got pix when I've only ever dressed like that in my imagination. (It'd look pretty dopey and kind of Ethel-y on my 820 on the way to Starbucks.) I like the term "Firebreasts" though. Seems like it could be useful in some area of life.

Unless she now rides a hybrid with a safety flag, handlebar bag and platform pedals, while wearing cargo shorts and t-shirt. Nttawwt.

Really, does every thread that has anything to do with females have to degenerate to pictures of boobs?

ffs.

Wilma seems to be the logical choice but Wilma is the one with common sense and intelligence in the show.

Also women bent over bars with boobs hanging out? Awesome. Also I think Liz Hatch loves the boys staring at her rack, she did pose for Maxim topless and sliding her panties down. And posing with bikes in bikini and high heels, how appropriate.

And let's face it, all women in sports are scrutinized for their body, not their performance. Last summer Olympics coverage of women was often with camera at ass level from behind. Footages of women stretching in their running panties and swimsuits etc.

What is the only thing I know about Bazil's Women's Futbol team? Oh right, they did team nude photo shoot in Playboy.

Also would admit that if I saw any photo of female cyclist or team, I'd be staring at the boobs first, not their bikes etc.

I'd call a woman who has her boobs just hanging out at front when all the other women aren't, a Fred/Wilma.

I've never heard anyone called a "Fred" except on the internet.
I guess most of the female riders I know would fit the description to some extent (after all, they're randonneurs or randonneussesses or something). I just call them by their names, though.
