New specialized Toupe saddle, new lizardskins 1.8 race tape, swapped out my ilink shift cables for Dura Ace cable housing because the shifting was just not up to snuff. Finally at a point where I'm 100% content with my bike and no longer looking to upgrade anything. Wish I could slam that stem, but I just cant get comfortable that way. this will have to do

Thanks. I dabble a bit in photoshop. No HDR, just a couple of layer masks and slight vignette. Picture was taken with my Gopro 4. Was a super bright day with clear blue skies. Lots of reflection of the sky off the water which may give a bit of that HDR look.

if im understanding correctly, you took a picture without the bike and your buddy, then masked that layer over the picture with the bike ?

just had an idea, you can do the same but with you riding the bike down a hill or something, it'll look like the bike is riding itself!

No. Buddy was holding bike in this spot. Used layer masks in photoshop to make different adjustments to the lighting, midtones, vignette and then merged all layers together. Maybe I'm not explaining it right. I'm not good at giving directions with PS. I'm still learning myself. I can do a fair amount of things but couldn't tell someone how to do what I do step by step.

i was asking if you masked out your buddy with a picture that was taken with just the background.

if you didnt do that then how are you able to show the background that was blocked by your buddy?

Here's what I keep in my stable. The black one is built with standard gearing and an 11/26 running on 404s. The grey one has a compact with an 11/28 running on 303s. They've both been posted on here at one point or another, but never together and never in their current configurations.

I know it's probably comfy, but everything about those bikes is awesome minus the saddle and the stem. Still, 9.5/10 would steal if you were my neighbor.

Saddle is very comfy. Can't do anything about the stem since comes with the bike and is a key part of the design. I'm sure the Look stem adds a little bit of weight and keeps the bikes from getting under 15 lbs, but I like them!

I've seen a few raves about those Selle SMPs in the past week. Are they really the cat's meow?

Just like any other saddle. If it works for you then it does, if it doesn't it doesnt. The pro/con about the SMP is they have a huge selection of combinations that feature width, padding, shapes...etc. if you try 1 and it doesn't work, it's like picking straws which model to try next. I tried a couple models and felt like inwas riding on 2 rulers up on their edges. But, I hear once you find one that works, they are amazing, but isn't that the story with any saddle?
