Thanks - I actually think it looks good in person with the polished rivets and glossy leather. Leather finish matches the glossy Zipp stem, shiny bar tape and glossy seatpost. Sort of a steam punk aesthetic. I could have put on a spare black Selle racing saddle just to stage it, but the photo was mid ride and I love this Brooks. Whole point of the build is a lifetime bike for long comfortable rides. Of course as an Architect, I couldn't help myself to make sure it looks good.

It's a 51cm with a relatively long top tube. And they are Kinlin XR31T rims laced to Bitex hubs with Sapim spokes.

I'm assuming you mean that I need carbon wheels. These are my training wheels, and at about 1475g, 24mm wide with a 31mm profile I'd say they're pretty good. I'll probably get some nice carbon tubs in the future for racing.

As a junior member, I'll welcome you to posting on here. However, if you've read through this thread at all, you already know this bike isn't close to hot. In looks or in presentation, sorry.

it's got potential. Just turn it around and level the saddle. It's actually a pretty nice bike.

Still a not but better. Cool effect with the wheels spinning but that does not work here. I like the setup but the bike is a little hard to swallow. Again, nice concept but the the execution is a little poor.

It might have some potential, but as it is, it's about as hot as your average 4 a.m. street walker. A little long in the tooth, worse for wear, needs work, etc.. Put some tape on those bars, that's nasty!

I disagree on the bartape. Dont put any.. my bars are all rusty due to the accumulated sweat.

What it looks like now.. the other photo was when right after I bought it :-) I put about 800 miles on it so far..mostly original except the Richey TT bars, saddle and bar end brake levers.

You went from potentially to... WHYYYYYY! I'll say not.

Flip it around so we can see the drive side.
Ditch the reflector and the dork disk.
Put your quick releases in a somewhat normal position.
Bullhorns on a road bike...I'm not the biggest fan of, but at least level them out like they should be.
Ditch the lock when you're photographing it, at least for this thread.

And lastly, why did you such a big frame if you need to slam the seatpost so far down like that (this might explain the position of the handlebars).

You've come a long way, baby! Still, unconventional and idiosyncratic. I'd beg you to get rid of that dork disk, and if you must have a reflector, please make it amber, and put it on straight.

I'm short and it's a 56cm frame.. the seat is set at my inseam x 1.08.. plus a few mm to fit me... i need a 54cm frame for my height.. but, i get compliments on the bike every time i ride it..

it's got a Maillard Helicomatic Hub so i'm not messing with the dork disk.. :-)

How long did it take to break in that saddle and how does it feel after long hours?

Hard to say on the break in. Probably a few hundred miles. I put a heavy application of proofide on it after getting it a few years ago which helps. I'm busy and rarely ride more than 1-2 hours so hard to say on long distance comfort. Love it though and never think about it when riding.

That's a hot one to me! The Breezer is an underappreciated brand on the road of course, but I think they need more attention on the trail too these days.
