Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My first real bicycle. Bought it July 23rd 2012 the day right after I lost my license. That picture is of the day I bought it.

Oversized luggage, "sit up and beg" stem and spacers, chain in recovery ring, red cable housing, red tires, reflectors...all very pro. Was this from a pro-peloton member's personal collection?

Serious Not for me and I love Felts. Blurry photo, poorly staged, saddle pointing up, don't see how in the world this would get a Hot from anyone in here. Stage it properly(read page 1), take a decent photo and resubmit.

Nope. Not even by 2012 standards.

The Roubaix is almost there. I'd lose the red hoods, bottle cage, and tires. Maybe move the shifters down a hair.

In order: Not, not, not.

Fix the bar angle on the first two and they'd be hot. To make the last one hot, replace it with another, more attractive bicycle.

Bars need to be tilted down.

Bars really need to be tilted down.

Bar tape needs to be red, hoods black

That's my opinion. The steel framed bikes could be really hot, especially the Lotus...but those bars, man.

What's on your front tire (the red one)?

I like to pretend they are bull horns so I can poke other cyclist with the brake levers.

I understand the white saddle and bars, sort of, but if you're going the blacked out theme, (wheels, cages, Quarq) go with black brakes and derailleur, as well. Sort of hot.

I'd have to assume it was a leaf of some sort. I think these pics are from last fall.

I'm ok with the mismatched cages, but the red hoods are way too much. The Lotus has funky bar positioning. The Felt makes my eyes bleed. 3 of 4 are at minimum, rather hot.

These are all hot. But I don't like the bar position on the Lotus.
