Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Any more than 5 hours sleep is superfluous (and unnecessary too)

I rode my bike today even though I'm on a training break and wasn't supposed to. Just a wee little 30 mi ride. I wanted to top my monthly mileage over 800. And I did- 803 miles for the month of June. This month is a training anomaly, normally I only ride 3 weeks out of 4. But the way our recent vacation fell relative to our upcoming 4th of July sail weekend, this training block turned out to be 4 weeks. So really it was a rare opportunity.

Tomorrow I am for sure not going to ride my bike.

Me? Nothing, I'm a neurologist. I really don't know. Metoclopramide, maybe. People have funny intestines though, things are different with us vs dogs, I'm pretty sure. Ask datlas, he's an internist, isn't he? He might know.

i still have a 2600.

i do not however, have a tv to hook it up to, so it sits in a milk crate with a bunch of games.

it's on the list of things to sell.
