That's a nice BMC up there. Small frame size.

The original all-metal ones. The plastic headed one like the one shown broke on me the first time I used it. It was replaced by the vendor, but then it was lost in the 2009 Victorian bushfires. I still have two of the metal ones, but they have been superseded by the Giyo one I linked to earlier.

Here's the Lezyne solution that I use, HP - there's a little mount that slides under your bottle cage.
The larger sizes might be a little easier to get up to pressure, but this one has done well for me. The only complaint is that, on one occasion, the valve body was unscrewed by the pump hose, letting a bunch of air; I had to re-tighten the valve and re-pump - frustrating at the time, but it was no call of shame.

Thanks @3alarmer, @Ramona_W, @LesterOfPuppets, @datlas, @Rowan, @surgeonstone, and @LAJ
And anyone else that I might have missed.
When you guys are saying "mount on top tube," are you suggesting underneath the top tube? I definitely can't do that because when I have my taller water bottle in place, it already extends to almost touching the bottom of my top tube. I guess maybe I could, depending on the length of the pump.
@Rowan, the link you provided does not have a pic of the pump mounted on a bike. What do you mean that it goes "under" the water bottle cage?
@surgeonstone, no way am I putting duct tape on the Magic Bike. It's not like it's a steel bike where duct tape is appropriate.

Yeah, the first time that I saw one of those, my reaction was, "**** you, *******," but now I find them too stupid to even register on my radar.

Earlier suggestion to practice a couple times changing tire with both technologies is a good idea.

Oh, this reminds me - some of the new Lezyne pumps have a hose that will work with cartridges. I haven't heard from anyone on how well they work, but that could be a nice compromise in terms of ease/speed of CO2 while being able to fall back on the pump if necessary.

I forgot that was the date of the Jesse James ride! Yeah, I'm going to be in Northfield that day with the wife and 3 kids. Crap. I was just kind of joking around about the ride to the 45th Parallel, but I was also kind of planning on doing it for the hell of it.

The Datsun 1600 was ahead of its time, and was a great little car for modifying. This was my rally car:
I built it almost entirely myself (the engine was built for me). Fibreglass hood, trunk and front fenders; two-litre motor... it was a sweet little car that I had a lot of fun in.
