Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wholeheartedly agree with the real issue.

The parents are still going to sue, and their case is certainly compromised.

The stuff out there now is WAY better than what I messed with 30-40 years ago, and I do know what the effect was then. Commuting, I'm much closer to the sights and smells of the road, and it's amazing how often I pull up near a car and get the smell of hooter. I don't like it, and don't know how they can drive.

Rambling, but I'm not against legalization, but I wish there was some responsibility attached. Silly pipe dreams.

I never knew that. That explains why it has never been my friend's mood-adjustment substance of choice.

The thread that made Jesus weep is now making me weep. Dear God how some folks take themselves so seriously.

The utter lack of self awareness is also particularly notable.

Precisely. Active impairment would be gone within 12 hours. Urine or blood positives can remain up to a month depending on fat levels. Pcad for instance, would likely be positive 30 days later due to excessive fat stores. Coasting less so. Datlas would likely be negative within 5 or six days after ingestion.

Heavy, yes. Fat, no. They're quite large since their mother was Maine Coon.

Really. This Monday morning quarterbacking is and always will be a silly exercise in meaningless. What happened is past, let the experts figure it out.
Makes me think of Friday morning morbidity and mortality conference where the goal was ostensibly to learn what to do and not to do but more often than not ended up as exercises in blame assignment.
