LAJ is right. Little bits at a time. I haven't gone back to see what the time line was with the eating and the tough end to the ride, but it wouldn't surprise me that you actually ate more than you should have at the last stop.
A lot of this eating stuff is a matter of practice making perfect. But the trouble is, it's not a perfect science.... which means it's not a science at all. But you do need to experiment with liquid nutrition, and if you are intent on increasing your intensity on rides (ie, go faster), you may find intestinal issues emerge with solid foods as well as a reduction in ready fuel.
There also is a balance in the stomach with electrolytes and absorption. Again, it takes experimenting with something like Endurolytes, especially in hot to really hot weather.

What do you mean by liquid nutrition? If I've never had cramping, should I even be considering Endurolytes? I very rarely have any stomach upset on these rides, which I've always taken to mean that I'm successfully digesting the food, is this correct?

The foundry I work at in Bloomington employs several hundred Hmong workers. I believe there are now more Hmong in the Minneapolis area than there are in their homeland.

OMG. There is something very strange & unusual on my roof.
Its a distant memory, sounds familiar.
I can't quite place the sound...
It's...
RAIN!
