Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Give me a break. They call it a joke.

What's the matter? Does not saying anything positive mean I didn't smooch Heathpack's butt like you guys do from morning til night? Didn't say one of the secret words like Mmmmm or Yummmm? Make no mistake. If one of your several Addiction buds had said the same thing, you all would be yukking it up right now. It's like you guys never left the jock table at Junior High School. Outsiders need not apply.

If you cared to ever participate in a real thread, one with a purpose, you would see I have been saying quite a lot positive, albeit to folks who can appreciate it. But don't bother. I'll come by here now and again to give you a sampling of both my wit and my wisdom.

OMG, I have to say that I found that to be a totally weirdo post on so many grounds.

First, it's a pretty normal thing to eat apples & berries. Second, there are four of us on the boat and the fruit will last many days, so its not even that much fruit per person per day. Third, what kind of image is that to form in others' minds? Total yuck on so many levels.

Its not the persistent negativity or argumentativeness that I find strange, it's the need for attention at any cost, the inability to cease interacting with another poster who is clearly not interacting back, or to drop a point until it has been completely & utterly beaten to death. Sorry I know this is harsh but I just don't get it.

Very few posts by me this week-long hours at work. Also in a conundrum as to ride or not, having more pain in my hip, thinking my body is saying slow down rather than HTFU. So hard for me to objectively evaluate my plan of action. I want to ride, I need to ride, but....!

I'd think a little bit of mellow riding would be better than couch surfing. Gotta take it REAL easy, though.

Lol, if you took more pride in your rides you might fare better overall.

Seriously, just try a few miles, see if you feel better or worse. If you feel better, keep going.
