Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nasty weather good for something

We were supposed to have a GFNY group ride today, but it was cancelled on account of weather.
I was all eager to go out.

But instead, I'm stuck in this apartment.

At least nasty weather makes for an interesting backdrop.

No garage door here, sorry.

(sigh....)

Nice looking bike.

But isn't cycling in NYC dangerous, even on a good day?

Thanks.
Maybe some would say so, but with "mixed snow and sleet," it's probably EXTRA dangerous.

Nice backdrop. Very pretty bike.
Interesting architecture with the buildings going sideways.

Maybe I'm a doof, but how is your seat post camped? However it is, it looks clean.

It's hiding on the other side. Ecco:

The bolt for the internal clamp is behind that black dot.
