Yeah, a great bike, for sure ! Shipping is not an issue. Size: rear frame is 21.5 inches; front frame is 22.5 inches. Tires are 700 x 35c.
let me know your thoughts !
Thanks

Brooks saddle upfront; gel, saddle in the back.

The bike is mechanically sound.

A comfortable ride.

I’ve never paid lots of attention to tandem rear hubs, but that one looks different than what I would expect. It almost looks big enough to House a coaster brake or even a motor. What is it?
I can understand the seat styles, my wife always wanted a “comfy” seat too.
It’s a great looking bike. Where is it (or) you located geographically?

We had a Gitane tandem circa 1972. Yes the drum brake rear hub plus the F/R rim brakes was standard. Ours had cottered steel cranks, FYI.

Hi Jimincalif,
Yeah, your description fits mine, except I have alloy cranksets. Hah ! Seems like with all that mass, it needs all the brakes one can muster !
