I am still using them - hard to believe it has been more than 2.5 years! No further trouble with bearings. I even rode up Mt Diablo in SF with them, not cranking too hard to prevent failure.

The only old Dahons worth having for their own sake are these stainless Mariners. Stainless steel bikes are a rarity in themselves, and those Mariners are probably the only folding ones out there....
