My next/new bike will probably be a C-dale, I'm split between the Black Inc CAAD10, & the 6/Evo. I have a good chunk saved for which ever 1 I choose in the end.
I found this gem, "2004 R1000" frameset. It will tie me over until the big purchace.

Haven't looked @ it in person yet but the pic looks good.
Asking $200?
What do you guys think its worth, or is a fair offer?

Should be a CAAD5 frame. $200 is an excellent deal if there is no damage.
The ride improved with each generation of frame. I haven't had a chance to ride a CAAD10 or EVO yet though. There is a huge difference in comfort between from a CAAD5 to SuperSix Himod though. (I own a CAAD3, 5, 6/13 and Supersix. And did own a CAAD2 and have a few miles on a friends CAAD 4)
With an Ultegra drivetrain and Ksyrium Elites, the CAAD5 will come in at around 17 pounds.

I'd pay $200 for that. I too like the CAADs. Currently on a CAAD 10 and have a CAAD 3 mountain bike, great frames.
That should definitely hold you over until you get an EVO, I'm about to make the carbon fiber jump myself with a Synapse Hi-mod

That would be a sweet pickup..
I built my girlfriend a Synapse Ultegra build and it impressed me enough I just picked up a Supersix Frame to move my Red Group over to....
Lets just say save the money for a SuperSix it is worth the wait, although the CAAD 10 isn't a slouch in any category!

Until recently I had a Caad5 105 which I sold to my brother - bought it a year earlier for $500 on CL. I ride a Caad8 Optimo R5000 now with DuraAce. As nice as the Caad5 was, the Caad8 is even nicer. I bought a second Caad8, 2006 frame, in pristine condition last fall on eBay for $275 and built it up with Campy. Both ride beautifully - I have no desire to "move up".

Is there any difference between the R1000/3000/5000 framesets other than the components?

Thats a good frame for ya. Till you get the EVO that is. Caad10 VS. Evo, both great bikes, but would have to chose the EVO if it were my choice. Both are great bikes, but the EVO is lighter and rides like a dream. I find the EVO to have a more muted ride, softer and smooth, but more stiff. Personally, I think it looks better as well.

Bikes: 2015 Cannondale Evo Hi mod
I went to my LBS yesterday because they built up a 2014 Supersix evo 6 (base model w/105) for me to test ride and the bike looks awesome but I was also looking at a 2013 CAAD10 Black Inc which for me was performed a bit better and also tipped the scales 1.5lbs lighter than the evo. CAAD10=17.5lbs, Evo=just under 19lbs in a 60cm frame and CAAD10 with heavier Di2. While I love the Evo for its paint scheme and overall looks, the CAAD10 just has that wow factor on and off the seat!
Really?? Huh. All of that sounds completely backwards to me but that's interesting. The weight difference has to be the components on the evo 6 compared to the lighter ones on the caad10. Those black caad10's do look good!

That being said, the EVO will then be easier, and cheaper, to reduce the overall weight of the bike.
I'm currently in the process of weight weening my bike (2012 CAAD10 3). I was at 17 lbs 13 oz for all stock + 2 cages + Barfly + Shimano 5700 pedals. I just put on some new bling and should be sitting around a half pound lighter. Still riding the stock (and heavy) wheels as well.
I've never ridden an EVO, but I can tell you I really enjoy my CAAD10. I'm trying to stash some money to pick up a 2014 CAAD10 3 when they go on sale next winter. At this point, I'm not interested in stepping off of the CAAD10, assuming no one gives me a free EVO.

Didn't Cannondale just start calling all of their SuperSixes, 'EVO,' for 2014? Whereas in the past the designation EVO indicated a higher-spec frame and components. Now they have 'SuperSix EVO' and 'SuperSix Hi-Mod EVO.'
iirc the SuperSix frame in the past, depending on size and year, was somewhere around 1000-1100g, and the CAAD10 frame is ~1150g. However, the SuperSix Evo Hi-Mod frame was <700g, and the Evo was ~900'ish (again size/year dependent).
So if all Cannondale did for 2014 is start calling their lower-end SuperSix 'EVO' and the models that used to be 'EVO' are now called 'Hi-Mod EVO,' then it really should be no surprise that a CAAD10 outfitted with top of the line components would weigh less than a 'SuperSix EVO' with mid-range components.

There is almost no weight differance between the CAAD 10 fram and the EVO 105 frame. The EVO 105 6 is speced differently than the CAAD 10 105 so it is probably a bit heavier. I wish would would get an EVO 105 5 around here to test.

I was able to talk him down to $150, but found this frameset.

Do you think its worth the asking, & what year/model is this one?
(I can't seem to find a pic that matches on Google with just Cannodale Supersix.)
Cannondale SuperSix Frame Set 51cm
Frame, fork, headset, seatpost and FSA compact cranks (34/50) INCLUDED.
Used, in great condition.
$575
Thanks again guys.

That appears to be a 2012 Woman's frame, here's a link https://www.cannondale.com/2012/bikes...ns-5-105-21519
