May be cobbled together but I certainly like it, especially for the price.

I only rode it for a few minutes. It feels much smaller than it looks, actually a lot smaller than my '15 CF Basso that's a size 61CM. The other thing that I quickly noticed was the BB seems a lot closer to the ground that either of the new bikes I've ridden.

My first vintage was also a Simoncini. Tretubi, so lower end presumably. It was a very solid nice ride.

Why does he do that? to see how far he can go before calls stop coming in, then reduce the price to where the calls all but ended? Or he's just playing and not really interested in selling it?

Yes, obviously crashed, but there's surely enough parts meat on these bones for $50. And maybe the Columbus frame isn't bent.

Dunno if I should be posting older listings. Either it got sold and they forgot to take the ad down, or it got overlooked.

It's bent, but the fork appears not to be bent and the parts look interesting, as others have pointed out.

Hard to imagine a hand-made Davidson (all of them are) sitting for two weeks at just $450 here in its home town of Seattle. This ~1991 Challenge is grubby but otherwise simply looks well-used with Dura Ace components. 56cm size. Somebody snatch up this killer deal! $450 is usually a fantastic value for just the frameset, if not below market. Otherwise I may have to rescue and restore it, these very much deserve it. Let me know!

This is as bought, only thing I've done is adjust the seat height. I'm going to mess with it some today. It's just sitting in the work stand clamp, not clamped down tight.
