Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have some old high vis Giro with my helmet light mount for commuting/low light,
another lightweight Giro MIPS that I use most of the time (Forget which)
then a Limar Air Speed for hammer rides and racing

TT, I have the Giro Aerohead and the previous generation Sworks. Pretty sure the Aerohead is faster on me but I haven't reviewed my testing data yet

$75? Maybe you could find one used?

I didnt think either one looked bad. Both kind of look like star wars helmets of the rebels from A New Hope

I damn near bought on of the Giro road aero helmets a few years ago while working at Performance, probably a good thing I didn't. Even though it was cheep it probably wouldn't have gotten much use.

I think that one had golf dimples on it, and a more built-in visor than that red one has.

This helmet is so light weight. Feels like I am wearing nothing. Also nice to have a helmet where I can fit my sun glasses for once. My other helmets didn’t have a way for me to store them. I have broken a lot of sun glasses.

They said rain here after 4:00 a.m. but it was dry when I got up so I went riding on my mtb for a couple hours. It rained a bit after I got home and now they're predicting rain for days.

Flight back was much better than flight out, fortunately. Both legs left early and arrived on time.

I wear my Prevail on charity rides with Mrs. rjones28. We generally cruise along at about 10 mph.

Possibly progress. First pic is with end cap on. I was able to remove by grasping it with a pliers and preventing axle from spinning by wrench on non drive side. The axle ends do not accept a hex wrench like other hubs I have used. Second pic shows cap removed. The freehub body slides off the axle by a few mm but there must be another internal cap holding it on. Suggestions again are welcomed.

DT Swiss end caps are toolless. The are a tight fit, so you'll need to put a little muscle into it.

Use a bar soap with pumice to remove the grease from hands. Think Lava.

See above, end cap off but freehub body won’t come off. I wonder if I have to remove axle fixing bolt from NDS and slide out axle from DS?
