Fausto Coppi(??) $60

https://boston.craigslist.org/bmw/bi...795343501.html

This may have been posted already; not that familiar with the make, but I always thought that Coppi's were fairly rare. I wonder if this is truly a Coppi.

The map on the Craigslist ad showed the location just east and north of Visalia.

Super cheap Cannondale 3.0 with interesting "upgrade" (did Cannondale ever spec a model with stem shifters?).

Conondale for sale - $75 (South Boston)

Solid bike to get around the city. Needs a fresh tune up and a new tube in the front tire. Moving and need to get rid of it

Ah, okay! I just saw another member respond to the post saying that they were only "20 minutes from Long Beach" so I figured that's where it was located. I did not get to see the original ad.

That thing is in the Metroplex. If you are a southern Okie, that's not a bad drive.

1981 & 1982 Trek 610/613/614 Ishiwata Forks

It's not really a deathfork, I just liked causing rumors. The fork crown on these has a flat spot that has been known in a couple of instances to encourage cracking.

Many riders have seen a lot of years of perfectly trouble free riding.

1986 Trek 560 Pro Series, 22.5". 531 main triangle, Tange CroMo blades and stays. Could use some clean-up, new hoods, but looks like it includes Shimano Look pedals. $190.

Early '90s Centurion Ironman Expert - 25" / 63.5cm - $350 - White with smoke grey marbling.

This is a frameset I'd like to own if it didn't come with components on it, as I'd hang either period correct STI 8-speed 6400 tricolor or some newer stuff. I would not pay attention to the yellowish portions of the paint as it appears to be the result of a double shadow or just wacky indoor lighting. Lots of paint chips on the aft portion of the top tube, and the rest of the bike is grubby. $350 for a bike that needs a good cleaning, IMO, is a touch much in this market. Alas, it is an Ironman and one with a sweet paint scheme (I am very much a fan, liking this better than the previous years' staid two-tone combos). And I am a man simply grousing over small details from my position of convenience--if I truly wanted it, I'd be working to get it in short order. Alas, I am only window shopping.

This looks to be a really mice bike. Frame built by Randy Smolenski out of Grand Rapids, MI. I was in contact with the seller, he's dropping the price to $300 and is willing to ship. Its a 60cm frame.

Go onto the IM thread. A few of the IM brotherhood live in the Metroplex. Someone might be able to facilitate. Of course you do have one right outside your window, that you might be able to get for cheap.
