Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Never really understood the logic.
I should have said my race bike, but since I mostly race crits I just equate crits and racing, my mistake. My other bike is a carbon frame that I don't want to race on, especially if they no longer make the frame in the event of crash replacement.

Really needs an outside pic, but here's my Altamira 1.0 with stealthed out Reynolds Assaults on a powertap. Needs a zero setback seatpost still.

Eh. Almost. No valve caps, matching black seatpost and stem, black seatpost collar, black tape, and black (or no) spacers would make it a lot better imo.
The gold skewers and chain(?) are a nice touch though.

Agree on most of this but I could live with the seatpost if it had a black seatpost collar, the gold collar really breaks up the flow too much. The gold spacers, white stem, and white bar tape really mess up the look of this bike. Seeing valve caps on a bike that nice is really weird.

Agree on the seatpost. I don't like it all the way around. As for the white front end, that's what makes the bike for me. Otherwise, it's like every other bike out there, a dime-a-dozen. Not sure how you even notice the gold valve caps... don't you have to squint? At least that proves you're really looking at the photo. ;-)

is the fuji black or navy blue? Either way I think it could be hot if the white and gold went away. The yellow makes it standout enough in a world of black and red bikes

Oddly, I'd have to disagree. There are WAY too many 'stealth' bikes out there. I like the few quirky splashes of color on this Fuji. I even like the white bar tape and stem and don't normally. I love the navy blue instead of the far more common black and red.

And I'm either blind or you guys are looking WAY too close to see those valve caps... At least they're not black plastic!

I vote Hot!

The look on her face looks painful, like she is pushing out a fart. Its not seductive at all. Her pose looks very forced and unnatural.

This pose and bike would look better if it was done on a race track or center of the road with curvy vanishing point or dark tunnel behind. The foreground and the background do not fit the bike. In fact is kind of stupid. If there is an object in the background of a photo shoot like this, it usually has some sort of correlation to object being photographed.

Fail IMHO

Firstly, I did not notice the lack of pedals.

Secondly, the staging of the photo is definitely a fail. Anything that was relevant to the use of the bike would have been much better. I don't have a problem with the model's pose or facial expression though.

Hi, both of these bikes are basically hot. My reservation on both is the cassette. What kind of criterium courses do they have where you race? Look like your largest cog is at least 25 teeth. A really hot "crit bike" should have nothing larger than a 21 tooth cog on the back which allows for mostly 1 tooth jumps between gears.

Otherwise, keep up the good work.
