Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Regardless, and the docs can correct me if I’m wrong, but a little caffeine has some good effects.

For the record, I abused coffee for at least 50 years and after a heavy week of usage, would experience palpitations, anxiety, headaches, etc. My cardiologist convinced me to cut back and I’m happy that I did.

Thank you all for the well wishes, prayers, warm thoughts.
I feel for you.

My mom called to ask if we would go see them as my dad is declining pretty quickly.

Tough to watch.

Sweet bike. Like the absence of decals, and the small discreet tone on tone decals.

Well, I wouldn't admit to wearing a puffy shirt either, but . . . .

I survived office hours, it’s cold and cloudy and windy out. I think I will ride fake miles in the basement. There is a group ride with a target pace of under 2 w/kg, I think I can manage that.

Consensus is a few cups of coffee daily is good for you.

Trust me, it’s not worth riding outside. I need a support group after what I went through this morning.

Ive thought about it. The only reason I don’t do it, I don’t want to make the wife jealous. If she wasn’t in the picture, I would be the next George.

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, my lower half feels like it is covered with 2nd degree burns.

On second thought, F that bike.

901’s sell immediately at flea markets ; price varies depending on condition of course

with or without the associated amp piece

even 201’s and 301’s move quickly when priced reasonably

My next bike is going to be white. I have the Movistar 60.1 which I absolutely love which has a lot of white on it. White bikes get little love but they look hot.
