Sounds like you've had a solid race season. Congrats. Do you know if Troy and the old CRJ team is still together?

Thank you. Steamboat is coming up, and whether I do well or not, it's a good time there.
They are. They do road trips to OK and Texas a lot. Odd, but who am I to say. A positive note, ol Gordon won the Mt. Evans race, so he has the state champ jersey for his bunch. Good to see.

Good for Gordon. That's cool. We camped at Mt. Evans last week for five days and drove the road. Fog and rain rolled in and it was terrifying. Coming down on a bike has to be worse.

Good to hear from you, sbxx, other than the circumstances that served as a reminder, that is. How's the boy doing? Eating you out of house and home, yet?

Any Gen-Xers in here? I'm going to see the Violent Femmes tonight. Haven't been to a concert in ages. Hope we don't get rained out.
They were my favorite group as a kid. One year my cool older sister was going to take me to see them for my birthday but then my parents found out and wouldn't let me go. So 30 years later I'm getting my redemption!
(Also I fall into that weird gap between gen-x and millenial but I had older sisters so I've always identified with gen-x even though college had become unaffordable by the time I went to school.)

I did get this. Saw it at patentcads favorite shop, and grabbed it. It's an 840 gram frame, as opposed to the Izalco, which was 750. I wanted light, but this one I can ride, because it's not nearly as aggressive as the Izalco. 14.8 like that, with no real weight weenie bits, other than those Reynolds wheels.
Funny. I looked for your rig at the lake up there.

So Rhino Entertainment put together a lot of audio from Woodstock. WXPN has been broadcasting it exclusively since a bit after 5 p.m. yesterday. I am not talking about the soundtrack from the film. It's all the music and a lot of other audio recorded during the festival. It started, of course, with Richie Havens' set. I flipped it on again last night and Ravi Shankar was performing. At one point the press is in his face taking photos. You can hear the camera shutters. He gets pissed and tells them they have enough photos. He wanted to play. Maybe you can stream it through the station's website.

Big mistake.
I was born in 1965, so too young to be a baby boomer and too old to be a Gen X. Sad.

Just picked up a 155 bottle unit at auction for $300. Just my luck: as is sale and as is is broken. $2400 unit at retail plus $425 delivery. So if I can get it working I will have saved a bundle. Of course, if my aunt and b***s, she’d be my uncle. I have found a reputable service company and am trying to find out what the two most expensive parts would cost, the computer board and the chiller unit. Just to get an idea whether to keep pushing on this. Stay tuned.

Sweet ride and weight. You never struck me as a Focus guy. Did you fall back into your WW ways?
Camp host said there have been five days since he started on June 5th without snow, rain, or hail. How was the weather for the race? We had a good amount of rain and a little hail last week. Drives all the tent campers home.

When I lined up, I was the only one without arm and leg warmers, and it was too late to get some, as they were already on their way up the hill to the bag drop. It was a good choice, though there were some definite cold spots on the way up.

Home.
Drivers in Belize pull out and pass whenever they feel like it. In one instance, while being passed, I had to hit the brakes and the oncoming car was run off the road, There were many similar incidents. I thought Mexicans drove poorly, but they look like angels now. I don't believe there are any four lanes there, nor shoulders.

Speaking of revisiting old childhood delights, there was an ice cream truck hanging out at the UP Big Boy visit a couple weeks ago. I got treats for the kids, but had to have one of those chocolate eclair Good Humor bars for myself. I enjoyed it, but not enough that I'd search them out the grocery store.
