Cold front. 33°C. With the humidity it feels like 38. We blew a 50% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

I stopped by my LBS today after work in an attempt to throw some money at a local small business...yeah, they didn't really need my help. I walked in and their comfort and kids bikes in the center of the store are almost wiped out. The sales manager said they are building up 3 bikes and selling 5, regularly, and they've got a 2 week long wait list for repairs.
What this tells me is that the MUP is crowded in town.

If seedsbelize is to be believed, I could be the George Washington Carver of Belize.
I'd bring calendars, peanuts, crop rotation planners, drones, super sperm, and robots. They'd erect a statute of me at the farmer's market.

Hmm?
After my ride, I ate lunch, hopped in the car with long-suffering spouse, (she) drove to Nap, and we worked on the boat for 3 hrs. This here small Beefeater and Fever Tree Aromatic is tasting a-mighty good.

The army ants are on the move, as a result of all the burning. You don't want to get bit by the army ants, as they pack a punch. But not to worry. The anis(birds) monitor said ants and forage on either the ants themselves, or the critters fleeing them. Army ants fan out over the area they are traversing and consume every lving thing that can't get away. Scorpions, cockroaches, small rodents, etc.

On my ride I did see a group of 4 riders in team kit for a local racing club. They were riding more or less in a pace line, i.e., quite unsafe given COVID19 situation. They may be serous cyclists, but also seriously foolish.
I did not wave. I bet that taught them a lesson!

I really think that I'm going to be lucky to get to 100 miles per week. I'm down to three ride days per week and, with the family home-bound, I feel a little guilty about skipping out for three, four, five hours at a time.
