Surly has done a good job marketing their bikes. If you look at recent cheap gravel bike threads around here, several people say, "just get a Surly Cross Check". And, for some people, the LHT is the touring bike that first comes to mind. Don't know how they did that. None of their bikes seem particularly special or interesting to me. Congrats to them, anyway.
