Bigger flakes than we're seeing in unincorporated Knox County. No report seen from nearby Jefferson City.

Drivetrain update:
Shifting is perfect up and down.
BUT, there is a little skip in back when starting off from a stop and I stomp on the crank. I am not sure of cause but guessing large cogs on cassette are worn. They are not visibly worn but easy enough to put another newer cassette on and see if that solves it.

The snow, though. I guess it might also remind the viewer of Lapland.

Knowledge is not gifted, it must be sought out. Mechanical things were always interesting to me. I took apart everything when I was a child. Keys, locks, clocks, motors. Engines carburetors, plumbing, pumps. I didn't care. If it did something. I had to know how or why or both.

Really like the Kicker Core. Much more accurate measurements. Smoother. Quieter. So quiet I can hear the groaning creaking of my right side pedal. Also increased the difficulty to 100% for realizm.

A balmy 35°F today so I got out for some real miles.
Very grateful to have a bike with full coverage fenders - we got a bit more snow last night and with the warm temperatures the roads were a sloppy mess!
