1980 Lotus Classique. I love this bike. It's not nearly this clean anymore. This was right after I got it all cleaned & re-assembled.

I like the old CyclePro touring-bag on that Lotus. They made some good stuff back then.

Both very nice vintage machines! Take good care of those. Wow!

Thanks! Yes, I love the bag, it's great for day-long rides. I even has a thermal insert bag for main compartment keeping the sandwich nice & cool in the hot florida sun.

I also picked up a nice set of vintage kirtland panniers (from a fellow forum member ) that will be going on my 1981 Trek 613 which I'm in the middle of restoring.

This is my 1981 Trek 613.

I think the guy that runs the vintage Trek website has the same model, year & color. It's in spectacular condition!

I've taken it apart to the bare frame and am going to set it up with a new tange headset, nitto stem & moustache bars. Sugino Mighty cranks. Some sks fenders,a new wheelset. NOS dia compe 500G brakeset. Honey Brooks B17. Pretty much the whole bike will be new.

i'm going to set it up as a *gasp* fixed gear for now. I have the fully geared Lotus above, so this will be a temporary fixed set up just for fun.

Later on, I plan to put the original Suntour shifters, front & rear derailleur of course. I live in flat florida, so the fixed set up should be fun for a while. I plan to move to North Carolina in a few years, so those gears will definitely come in handy later on "down the road"

anyways, I got this set up from a great bike forums member a few months back. I think the yellow will go great with the chestnut paint!

My 1982 Trek 614 - 61 cm

This is my first of many Ebay finds. It’s a very nice handling sport-touring bike and has become my winter/wet weather ride.

Another opportunity to post a picture of my bike???? Yeah!

1986 Schwinn Voyageur Touring Bike (Columbus Tenax Steel, weighs in at 26lbs as shown), with all the necessary braze-ons/eyelets for racks, fenders, etc. Haven't toured with it yet, but I'm looking for some good off-season deals on the equipment, and hopefully get a short one next season.

I've changed a lot on the bike, but this is it in its original condition:

What beautiful shots of a beautiful bicycle! I love how that pale blue interacts with the beige/brown handlebar tape and the brass bell. And those Shimano 600 "Arabesque" levers are nice! You should consider pinstriping that pretty frame with gold or cream around the lugs!

Good question cyclotoine. The type 2 (with the lip) works just as well with the Klean Kanteen as with my plastic bottles. No rattles with the KK with this cage like I have had in using it with the old standard designed VO stainless cage (that I have on my 1982 Trek 614 - see above). It is really nice to be able to custom size the cage by bending it in and out to get just the right fit for each width of bottle.

My shakedown ride on my '84 Fuji Touring Series V. I purchased it earlier in the summer from C&V member Afilado (thanks Julian, I'm thinking of ya) It came to me like it just stepped out of the catalog page (https://www.classicfuji.com/TouringSeriesV_1984_Page.htm) and other than a change to a Fujita Pro saddle, it remains that way. I spent most of the day today noodling around on the local gravel back roads, no destination in mind, just enjoying the sun and fresh air.
