Vain, But Lacking Talent
It's been too long since I've been here. I was taken by a stinking zombie thread.

Vain, But Lacking Talent
I've done first class a couple of times for work when the checked bag + main cabin extra price was within 50 bucks of first class. It was nice, but it still felt unnatural. I'm a bumpkin at heart I guess.

That's a shame.
It reminds me, two years ago there was a house on my cycling commute that's kind of big into lights and still had them going on January 9
I was looking forward to seeing how long it could go, but then sadly my ailments took over and I didn't ride again until March. Maybe I can see this year.
Must be disappointing for the Taxslayer to spend all that money on the bowl and Doug from Marietta didn't even notice.

My wife has some Goyish reason for leaving everything up and lit through 4 Jan. Something about the 12th day of Christmas. Taking the tree out to the street is about the saddest ritual of my year.

What I really want is full anesthesia and being wheeled around like Hannibal Lecter until I arrive, then be woken up.

I went to Strava to get mileage and update my spreadsheet. I click on the monthly columns to get the mileage, enter that in my spreadsheet, and when I finished the total for all the months is almost a mile different than Strava's "My Stats" 2019 total on the right-hand side.
wut
Anyway, in 2019 I rode more in December than in June, July, August combined.
In June 2014 I rode more than all of 2019.
Sad.
