One thing that is available is Udder Cream. It was originally used for milk cows because in the winter their udders chap, crack and bleed. There are human use formulas, and they work UDDERFULLY.

Another suggestion for the long run is to consider a recumbent. I rode a couple thousand miles on tours in my 20s and 30s, trying every adjustment and saddle and shorts under the sun. It wasn't until I bought a recumbent that I could ride for any amount of miles - pain free. (That meant no longer pain for my wrists or neck, too).

I suggest following the tried and true advice: Get a Brooks saddle (B17 or Champion Flyer); some padded, Spandex bike shorts (or bibs); get off your bike every hour, if only for 5 minutes; take a rest day every week, or more often if need be.
See if any or all of those remedies help. My feeling is that Brooks saddles may not work for everyone, but anyone with sore butt troubles should at least give one a try - so many of us swear by them (including me.) Get it from Wallbike and you can return it if it doesn't work for you.
I had sore butt problems much worse on my motorcycle. However, I discovered that if I got off it, even briefly, my butt seemed to "recharge" and I was good for another hour or so. On long trips I'd stop for gas, food, to go to the bathroom, to take a picture....just about anything. When I got back on I felt better. The relieving effect didn't seem to diminish over the course of a day.
My Brooks saddle is the best I've found, but after many long days my butt starts to get uncomfortable. Rest stops help a lot, but a rest day is even better, and my whole body (and soul) appreciates it, not just my butt.

DISCLAIMER: I admit, I didn't read all the posts before I added my two cents. If I've repeated anything, I apologize. I'm in a hurry. I should be getting ready for work!

Thanks for all the replies guys. My butt seems to have worked out the problem because Wednesday and today have been fine for my butt. I'm loving the ride so far. I think the problem was that I had done no training prior to riding haha. I've been in a eff-it mentality lately and just went for the ride. So thanks again : )
