KonAaron Snake:

You have some really nice bikes. I tried looking for a way to list mine at bottom of each post but have failed to find the utility. Anyway, I agree, the new updates to this Paramount were professionally done and sensible. Only area of concern is chrome quality at the BB shell. It looks a little rough.

Thanks ggl! I'm really happy with them. The only one I'm getting a bit tired of is the Raleigh faux Team...I'd like a real 753 one.

Go to settings and edit signature...you can list 'em how you want.

Many thank, Kon. I don't know much about Raleigh but there is a nice Team for sale out here in Chicago. Go to https://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/bik/1879944807.html and see if it is what you are looking for. A bit pricey but if it is the right one...

Thanks...that's not a "real" team bike, but I appreciate you telling me about it. Horrendously over priced as well.

If it were a 60 or larger I'd love to have a DeRosa....Nice Bike

Oh, too bad about it not being the correct Team. For a minute, I thought I had one for you.

Prologue with Sante on Chicago CL

1987 Schwinn Prologue Race w/Santi, almost NOS - $700 (Carol Stream)

Reply to: sale-njvuq-1880009108@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

In my never ending quest to find awesome bikes I have finally come up with something pretty cool. I got this bike from a older gentleman who retired from Schwinn in 1991 after working for them for over 35 years. I felt like a kid in a candy store going through all of his NOS Crank sets, derallieur's, clothing, seats, grips, handlebars, bar wrap, and all his Paramount NOS parts-Campy stuff, clothing, Helmet covers, full body team biking gear etc..
After looking up information on the bike that is pictured and for sale, I have confirmed his story. He told me that only 300 were ever made and maybe 20 of them came with the Santi group set. He added that I would never be able to find one in this condition EVER. It is in MINT condition and was maybe ridden 5 times.
If you are interested in the bike and would like to see it, give me a call at 630-400-0235.

Unless it's my grail bike, I really can't justify purchasing any more gems to flip, although this could be a nice, quick and easy sale. I spoke to the owner on this one and it sounds like it's around 54cm-56cm. It was a garage find and it has small areas of slight surface rust (didn't sound too bad). It also sounds like it's fully outfitted in a Shimano 600 group.

=============================

Faggin Hand Made Italian - $350

Hand Made (Italian) Faggin
Older , collectible
Don't know much about it.

Holland Track Frame - 58 cm

Please buy this before my kids talk me into it. Looks outstanding in the pic!

Custom Holland track frame 58cm - $300 (Robbinsdale)

This frame comes with a seatpost, headset and fork. It is built for track use only and is a great riding bike. Super stiff and sharp handling. Perfect bike for a begginer at track racing. Few paint chips, this is a 1996 built frame, still very solid and maybe the most stout track specific frame in the metro.

I also might strip it and try trading the frame for one that fits better...we'll see.
I wrestled for a couple days over whether or not I wanted to use up all of my bike kharma and finally sent a PM. I understand if I'm too late.

Superia Mixte = Superia was a european racing sponser back in the 60's. World Champion Rudi Altig rode a Superia.
You dont see to many Superias, this one looks low=end but still nice.
