Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I thought they were for youngsters when I first noticed them in the '90s. I immediately decided I'd never own a pair.

I bought my first pair of Skechers 7 or 8 years ago. They were work shoes and they quickly fell apart.

Or at least until today’s first stage of the Giro is over.

Super tired. Might have to be a rest day, or night ride today. Comet TV played Pandorum so I stayed up and watched it. Gotta haul mom to the airport so she can visit her friend in San Antonio. Old ladies all vaxxed up gotta galavant all over the place now.

Definitely take a rest day - recovery is the keystone to building fitness.

Underrated. Good movie that nobody's seen.

I've been antsy; I can only imagine how difficult this has been on older folks.

Maybe some of the other Addicts can chime in.

we've been eating at Restaurants since May 9th last year. We ate at one last night and will have a late lunch at one today.

Sorry things aren't open out your way. Things should be better soon for you I hope. At least you've got the scenic terrain to enjoy.
