schwinn cimarron

I have a 1980s Schwinn Cimarron steel mountain bike, 20" seattube. Looking for a bike for my wife, a vintage women's or mixte bike. I'd be interested in trading entire bike with components too, if local. I'm in the Philadelphia area. Thanks!

TRADED for Peugeot Mixte -- Thanks Glenn!

I have a 56cm Specialized Epic carbon. I believe this was an early 90's. The fork was replaced with a carbon one.
This is just a frame set now.

I have a Peugeot Mixte I could offer for trade, I need to go over it and put the wheels back on, it has been sitting awhile. I got it from the original owner years ago before I was really into road bikes and robbed the wheels for another project and it's been sitting ever since. I live in Cape May NJ and would be willing to meet half way if you are interested.

I have this very nice Miyata 1200 I picked up last year from **** Rax and have been collecting parts to finish off the build but am being Severely Pressed by She Who Must Be Obeyed to thin the herd so this one has to go. It's in great shape for it's age and has some cosmetic touch-ups, the most obvious a nickel-sized spot on the right side of the down tube just forward of the shifters that was bare metal with surface rust. Miyata calls this a 57 x 57 cm frame, but their measurement must be c-t-t as I read it as 22"/56cm c-t-c. The build inventory:

Tange Falcon Headset
SR Aerox Stem
NOS SR Custom Handlebars with new cork wrap
Dia Compe Aero Gran Compe Brake Levers
Dia Compe NGC 400 Brake Calipers with mint pads
SR Aerox 5LA Crankset Highly-Polished with polished drilled chainrings
New Chain
New Stainless Brake cables with new Jagwire housing
NOS Suntour braided stainless shifter cables
NOS Suntour Symmetric DT Shifters (Thanks Kurt K.)
Suntour Cyclone RD
Suntour Cyclone MK-II FD
Suntour NOS New Winner 6-speed 13-28 Freewheel
Mavic MA-40 Rims laced to Campagnolo Victory/Triomphe Hubs
Tires for display only
Campagnolo Record 1044 Polished 2-bolt Seatpost
Ariake/Miyata Saddle
57cm Seatpost and Top Tube Per Miyata Spec (C-T-T)
Miyata Double-Butted Cro-Mo Tubing with Suntour Superbe Pro Dropouts/Fork Ends

I'd like to swap this out for a frame/fork in 56-58 but am open to all options. If I can't find a home for it here it will be off to fleabay.

I have a Cramerotti cyclocross frame that is just a little too big for me. The seat tube measures 57cm c-c (58.5cm c-t), the top tube measures 57cm c-c, and it has an 85cm (33.5") standover height. The guy I bought it from said that it's made from Columbus tubing and that the fork was custom made by Hans Scheider. It has been powder coated blue. I will include the brand new Italian threaded, square taper, cartridge bottom bracket. The frame has been cold-set to 130mm. The wheels are not included.

I would like to trade for a cyclocross frame with a 54-55cm c-c seat tube with a ~55cm top tube, and ~30-32" standover height.

Have: 54 cm 1977ish Colnago Super. All Campy, great condition. Polish and a wax, and she'll shine like a new dime. If she were my size, she'd be a permanent part of the collection. She rides like a champ. She practically begs to be ridden no-handed, and rides like the wind.

Want: 58-60cm (ctc) Colnago Super. Preferably 1977 or older. I'd also consider other bikes of similar caliber. Cinelli, Masi, Jack Taylor, Galmozzi, Bruce Gordon, Eisentraut, 3Rensho, and De Rosa all come to mind. PM to discuss.

I wish this were my size as well.

I'd be driving down to Chicago this weekend to pick it up if she were a little larger in the shoulders.

I'm on another Colnago kick. I'm back up to two again, and this one would be the right bicycle from the 70s to own for me.

This shouldn't be very hard to dispose of in a timely manner.

I have this Bridgestone MB-6 frameset I won't be using. I'm sure someone can use it for a winter commuter or errands bike:
ST: 47 ctt
TT: 57 ctc

I'm interested in a road frameset that has room for tires and fenders. Sport touring geometry preferred. Also, I prefer something that doesn't need any strange threading (French haha) as I already have a bunch of parts I can build with.
ST 50'ish
TT 52-53 ctc

Thanks, Jason.

EDIT: The Frame has been traded

I recently picked up an unbranded frameset with Nuovo Record components. I would love to rebuild and keep it but it's too tall for me.
I bought it mainly for the campy parts. The guy had it in his garage for years. He said it's made of Reynolds 531 and was custom built for him back in the 70's when he road a lot. It's a maroonish color.

Reynolds 531
Campy Dropouts
ST: 60cm
TT: 58cm

What I am looking for:
Any road or even vintage track frameset of similar quality and in the range of ST: 54-55cm, preferably 55.

Offered this on the NorCal forum but got no takers... hardly a classic but it would be a neat project for someone.

Friend gave me a bare frame for a MTB - it looks to be the one reviewed here:

https://www.imbikemag.com/issue2/?page=125

Example photo attached - it doesn't have the cantilever studs on the seat stays, but it has two sets of braze ons there (do they make removeable braze-on cantilever studs?) and another set on the mono part of the stays for a rack, and it also has a disk brake mount on the rear.

Doesn't appear in the current catalogue, although they have a different model with the same name: https://www.on-one.co.uk

16", for riders 5'6" to 5'10"... I'm pretty sure it's for 26" wheels. Just the frame, no fork or headset or bb. Non replaceable der hanger. Great condition except for scratches in the paint and a little cosmetic rust around some of the braze ons.

Free to anyone who wants it.

My new colnago is too small for me. 53 seat, 54 top.

I'd like to trade it for a nice frame that fits me. I usually find 55cm to be the best but can make a 54 or a 56 work.

Two bike frames I'd like to trade. One is a Trek 800 Antelope. 45 CM CTT. The other is a Bongoose ATB Pro. Chrome frame, canti brakes. Thread about it here..21.5" X 23". It's a lot cleaner now. There is a small dent in the down tube, maybe 1/2" across. Looking to trade for a road or FG frame, ~58 CM. Nothing to high end, preferably Japanese, recessed brakes.

1973? Raleigh Super Course

Seat tube ctc 58cm top tube ctc 56cm. Email me at drrobwave@gmail.com for pics. I can't figure out how to post them from my IPad. The bike is 531 and in need of some TLC to get some surface rust off. I got the bike from a storage bend and it had reflective stickers all over it. I've done some work to the frame cleaning it up and peeling off stickers and would love to keep it if it wa my size. Looking for a 60-62cm Reynolds 531 frame of similar quality.

I've got a red Dancelli f/f that's a bit small for me at 55cm and would be delighted to swap it for something equivalent at 57-58cm. No decals, looks to be fully-chromed, the usual chips and nicks to the paint but it's clean, straight, and rust-free.
