RALEIGH T.I. TEAM LIGHTWEIGHT ROAD BIKE 58CM - $160 (concord / pleasant hill / martinez)

RALEIGH T.I. TEAM MENS LIGHTWEIGHT ROAD BIKE 58CM IN GOOD CONDITION.MADE IN ENGLAND $160.00 OBO (415)867-7747

So, is this anything special? This can't be a Raleigh Team bike, can it? It has those idiotic brake levers and a dork disc on the back. I made an appointment to see it tomorrow thinking it was the Raleigh Team bike because it says "TI." Doesn't that stand for Team Issue?

It looks pretty ho-hum to me. TI = "Tube Investments" or something like that

1978 Fuji S-10 s - $220 (Watertown)

Date: 2010-03-25, 10:12PM EDT
Reply to: sale-nftj5-1661665574@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Vintage Fuji 12 speed road bike in very good condition. This model was built in one of the two years in which Fuji upgraded the very successful S-10 from 10 to 12 speeds, but seemed concerned about changing its name in case it impacted sales. All components on the bike are original except tires and bar tape. Double butted Fuji 881 tubing. 25 inch frame (measured center of cranks to center of top tube - will likely best fit someone 6'1" and up). Chromed fork ends, rear stays and fork crown. Diacompe 610 brakes, Brake hoods in fine shape - no cracks. Nitto B114 Olympiade bars, Sugino Super Maxy crankset, Suntour Compe-V/VGT derailleurs and levers, 27x1 1/4 Ukai rims laced to Sunshine Gyromaster hubs, MKS pedals with toe clips and leather straps, Cateye reflectors, Fuji saddle, Bontrager bartape. Wheels spin round and true, mounted with Armadillo tires in very good condition, holding air and with plenty tread left on them (these Armadillos will never leave you stranded - as puncture proof as any tire on the market). Frame and fork finish is a pearlescent 'Jade', and has a beautiful sheen. Headbadge unblemished. Frame has minor scratches. Small scrape on one fork side. Saddle has small tear on one side.

This is a truly nice example of this model, which has a dedicated following among vintage road bike lovers and a deserved reputation for quality of build and frame and component reliability. Bike is fully tuned and functional. A classic bike, which much as I wanted to deny it is only just too big for me. More info at www.classicfuji.com.

Cash only. Could possibly deliver close to Watertown.

I'm not all that familiar with them either. They look darn nice and they are hollow steel. I would imagine a high end 1950's early 60's French road bike would have such a crank. But I could see them on a Peugeot UO-8 or similiar as a cool upgrade. I like good quality steel cottered cranks. They have a very positive feel to them and the rings take a long time to wear out. I'm wondering if those are alloy rings on that Duprat crank though.

The bolts are TA and I'm pretty sure those are TA alloy rings. This would look sweet on my Gitane!

Shoot, Their starting to get pricey.

Someone musta really wanted those bars up high. The stem looks like a cheapo Kalloy or some-such welded stem made for MTBs or hybrids.

Reply to: sale-7jdaw-1663142636@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

It's a small, clean and tuned Trek 1100 road bike.

The frame size is 21.5" or 54.5 cm. The weight is only 23 pounds.

Frame is E-9 Easton ProGram Double Butted aluminum / fork is Tange chrome-moly.

21 speeds with shifters on the downtube. Smooth and very fast ride.

The triple crank means very low gears to fly up hills, and high gears to fly down them.

$250 cash.

That Miyata looks like a late 70's? vintage. 21 speeds, yeah right. Has bar end shifters and a leather saddle. The rest is hard to tell from the pictures. Its possible that it has steel wheels, who knows.

I'd go $75 from looking at the pics.

My '77 Miyata had the more modern "Miyata" letters on the downtube, which makes me think this bike – with its block letters – is pre-1977.

Guericiotti 53cm road bike for sale - $500 (Douglassville PA)

Date: 2010-03-26, 9:23PM EDT
Reply to: sale-jassn-1663251642@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]

Guericiotti road bike for sale. Columbus SLX frame and fork. Campy chorus group with Modolo handlebar and stem which alone is worth the asking price of the bike. Rolls saddle. Never was involved in a crash. Continental Grand pix tires, and Time pedals. Will accept cash only....no return policy. The top tube is 53 cm while the top to bottom tube is 20 inches or 50.8 cm

Looks like a very nice price...I have no idea where Douglasville is in relation to Philly, but if it's not too far...I'd check it out for someone

I tried jumping on this last night before I saw this post but the guy was not forthcoming with a better picture verbally or otherwise. I was really only interested because I liked my late 80's Team Miyata that unexpectedly met an illegally U-turning Lincoln. I told him I might go as high as $100 if I saw something I really liked. Good luck if you were the guy who offered $75 he was meeting this morning.

While I'm here I might as well ask about the bike I am going to buy today:

Bianchi Premio Road bike in excellent condition!

Purchased in 1987, only ridden 10 times. I just never liked the fit, so just didn't ride it.

Frame Size 23, Wheel Size 27 Shimano light action derailer and crank. Toe clips

Side pull brakes, great red color. 10 speed. Have all original paperwork for the bike.

Bike is racing red, in excellent shape, and I have to wonder what others would pay for it.

Maybe not. The Pro is every bit the bike that a Paramount is and should be priced side by side for same condition. If this bike is 9 out of 10, it is worth $1000 in my book. But, you would want the original tubular wheels and Campy hubs at that price.
