Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Did they finally catch Si's ass? Did Ollie get shelled again? Did Conor use his newly recovered fitness to simply pull everyone through it?

it certainly appears safe as we are 140 million doses administered and not much bad reactions noted. Let's get that stuff in arms.

You know, guys, for a bit there, I was concerned that I'd gone too far, that I just have too many bikes. But now I can see that's not the case.....

Looks about right to me. Maybe missing a recumbent for when you throw your back out.

Heavy rain incoming as expected. Will do a recovery/social meetup on Zwift with my club. The guy who organizes it makes a companion Zoom meeting so we can interact more. In the interest of decorum I do NOT have my camera turned on.

woke up to rain. Rain in the morning and then it stops, just to start again when the group ride is suppose to start. Hopefully the weather man is wrong today.

Is this a group in W'burg or are you meeting up with the Scalpers?

Sunday is the scalper recovery ride. It’s slower paced and they are usually good at not leaving anybody behind.

The numbers are saying go out and hit it hard. The legs and the weather are saying easy fake miles and weights.

It's looking like the rain won't be a problem today, so I should get in a ride. It's not looking like it's going to be great, by any means - mid 40s and partly sunny - but that's better than high 30s and non-stop rain.

I get my first dose on the the 7th. Good luck. I get the Pfizer shot. Hoping for minimal reaction.

Of my family members in PA, only my kid brother had any substantial reaction. He was tired after both shots. My 82 year old mom did fine. I can't wait to see my family. I am hoping to visit in June.
