I received replica decals for an Ochsner steel frame I am in the process of stripping and repainting. I found them on velocals.com. They had done a reproduction of them at some point and still have some left. $34 including shipping.

I like the looks and what is said about the Knipex tools. I have sent an e-mail to Knipex sales rep to inquire about a purchase. Can any of the BF members give me some info regarding where/ how to purchase?

Love my chrome bag for deliveries but this really classes the ride up! Thick and well oiled leather through out.

All for a good cause.
Well, this came in the post and then it was handed to me. A nice leather messenger bag!

For some reason I've been wanting an steel road bike so I bought this frameset on a bit of a whim, a 1986 Centurion Elite RS. I always think I've paid too much when I buy things like this online, but after seeing how clean it is for a 33 year old frameset I am satisfied with my purchase. I'm still very undecided with how I want to build it up, but right now I'm thinking either stick with the 126mm rear spacing and go some direction with that or update it a little bit with 3x9. It will be nice to get back on some steel after spending lots of miles on aluminum and carbon.

More parts coming in

Ordered two different spoke wrenches as I wasn't sure what size I needed. It's 3.2mm on the DT Swiss spokes. I will probably try the Knipex to see if it works as a spoke wrench.
New light as the light field on the B+M IQ-XS @70 lux is good but not as even as the B+M Cyo Premium @80 lux. B+M's own website shows an IMHO correct comparison.
Let's see how the 100 lux of the B+M IQ-X stacks up.

I opted for the SP dynamo with centerlock even though I am using rim brakes because I think the rim brake version looks weird and is pretty much the exact same size. The red ring is a SON centerlock cover though it seems like it needs a bit of grinding to fit.

All that is left now is the rim!

A carton tube with the coolest label I've seen in quite a while.

EDIT: realized that publishing the full address maybe wasn't very smart

You're probably right. Maybe I'm a little too sensitive. I guess having been busy with the GDPR implementation kinda does that to you.

New cables and gold housing for my gold Raleigh build. Too much bling? Hope not.

I thought about going wireless, but isn't gonna happen.

I prefer to buy them used, but since I couldn't find the B17S mrs non-fixie wanted for her latest bike, I decided to order a new one for her. And since the prices seemed quite reasonable I decided to add a C17 for myself to the order. Come to think of it, these might be the first new saddles I ever bought ...

Shouldn't be. I have those cables in silver and they aren't blingy. Good choice!

I just received a new B-17 in the mail from a CR contact yesterday. It was certainly the first new leather saddle I ever bought. I think I might have purchased a Selle Italia Flite new way BITD (mid-80s?).
