Don't get me wrong, the Cervelo is a better bike for my tastes. Every bike is different, the Scott is quite unique, I'm sure some racers would prefer the Addict, particularly sprinters/climbers. I am liking it more with each ride, so that's very good. Changing out frames would be a massive pain my Pcad ass.

Yep. By far the best low profile non-aero wheel I've ever ridden. Very nice indeed. Worth the $800 I paid (plus $70 customs).

Yes, for a competitive racer, it is fine, but for an old stale fart with chronic back issues, it is not. You should have gotten one of these. Every bit a race bike but a hell of lot more comfortable and better looking IMO.

Oy Vey! You are so transparent. All of your vacillation ("I like it today, it's a keeper" to "rough today on chip seal etc) is evidence that the bike isn't quite "right" for you. Scotts are notoriously harsh and they don't get any better with time.

I think I should just tell slothy he's grounded and be done with it.
That's it. You're grounded kid.

Tomorrow is the first race of the season in Central Park. We tee off @ 6:30AM. The way I see this, it's a really hard, overly fast, idiotically expensive, relatively dangerous, preposterously inconvenient spin class. On the other hand there is the free parking in Midtown Manhattan, so it's almost worth it just for that.
Almost.

Well , tomorrow the same thing will happen in Pittsburgh minus the organizational skills. Same costs and competition in the cold and muck, without the decalred winner. No one would be the wiser if we (two of us) stayed in bed, but we will be there with the same drive and competition and free parking. At least you will know where you stand... well I'll be last so I guess there is no need for organization after all

Sloth , you magnificent bastard I think your on to something. PCAD talks so much he can't possibly remember what he said, or thought yesterday. Yesterday, the road was hurting his back, and the ADDICT wasn't dialed in. Today it's perfect. There's a name for his condition. I just can't spell it.

S2, Zipp Tubies, Mavic Elites in car as back up hoops. CP followed by a little Nyack Ride hammering.

no seriously it was a pretty miserable day, we went out to do laps at 5, was ran into by a guy on a cervelo (not you i don't think) who proceeded to dust himself off and ride on without saying a word (he hit me from behind)

Couldn't have been Pcad, he would have yelled at you for being in his way.
