Grips for Risers

Hey guys and girls. I'm in the market for some sparkly new silver risers and looking for some grips that look different from your usual Ourys. I am sort of looking for a Keirin/track style grip, Champ/Strong V, but shorter. Does such a thing exist? If not, what do you use? Feel free to chide me on wanting to use risers in the first place. Thanks.

Keirin grips are usually rubber so you can just cut them. Also check out BMX grips, there's a bunch of different comfortable ones

Why shorter? I happen to like the look and feel of long track grips on risers.

Just cut them to the appropriate length as already mentioned above.
A pair of decent scissors or garden sheers would do the trick nicely.

Just remember to measure twice and cut once though!

Been really liking ODI Soft Flangeless Longneck Grips on my risers.

Not as long as track grips but much softer. If you ever had Mushroom grips on your BMX bike as a kid, you'll know what I mean.

Ergon grips all the way. Those little flat sections for your palms to rest on are choice! You will be riding to hand comfort city on those guys.

Thanks for the info. Wasn't getting updates for some reason.

Scrodzilla: while I like the look of longer grips it also hides the bars a lot. Give and take I guess. I really like how tape looks but then there's -no- bar at all. I'm thinking either longer track grips or just tape. Over the whole Oury thing.

Scrod, I know you're a fan of Turbo saddles from what I've seen on here. What do you think about white Turbo saddles aesthetically? I'm riding a blacked out 2001 Bianchi Pista and was thinking of black risers with white track grips and a white Turbo. I want to add some flavor without emptying my wallet.

Ive been using ODI ruffian grips and pretty much any ODI grip for many years now and on all my bikes. They last, they grip, they dont move if you install them properly and they usually come in lots of colors and designs from normal to just straight up goofy. I dig em.
