Might have to buy a longer axle. :)

And something of a brilliant mind when pointing out the astonishingly asinine way we treat the privilege technology has brought us... Be it complaining about how airplane wifi had a hiccup or that my seatpost will take an extra couple of days to get here because a weekend interrupted my desire.

The wheel fits perfectly :) Though that is where I was caught off-guard... "Whoa, these trackends are a little beefier than I am used to..." *unscrew unscrew unscrew nuts*

Thanks for that, @Mumonkan... I now exist in that limbo whereby I wait for all of the myriad pieces to arrive. A side effect of this build is that I have been able to assess rather scientifically the performance of various online retailers—some of which I have never done business with before. I designed this thing before ordering all the parts and so the orders were all put in around the same time, give or take three days. One retailer in particular has really vexed me by delaying their shipment for days and therefore I can't even install the damn seatpost until next week.

im in a similar situation, i have about 2 weeks to pray that the extravagant list of pretty important components i ordered show up at my door for a 2 week bikepacking trip in arizona. as things show up i slowly add them to my megatron so i can create my megazord and the stress levels go down

despite having the patience of a monk, it is a virtue that im not blessed with in this situation, lol

I couldn't agree with you more. I very often find myself saying to myself: "What would Louie say about this irrationally hostile reaction I am having to something which should actually be causing me to feel gratitude and awe?"

I then smile and walk away feeling much better about things generally.

Just got her built up today. Took a little ride and made a few adjustments. I think I need more setback on the seatpost. Feels really good though.

Those All City doubles are great straps, had them on my pedals with their plastic cages before I switched to clipless.

Thanks! I'll be posting a zillion pics. I don't know if the red banding on the Neos parts clash too much. Black and white like Thomson stuff might go better with the overall rest of the non-frame parts.

What bars are they? The profile looks exactly like what I'm after.

Some progress! Waiting on bar tape and trying to figure out fit etc... Using mostly components I had, will upgrade over time but getting close to ridable.
