I'm usually a big fan of phil gear but the boxy cups turn me off.

In other news for the deep pocketed, phil is discontinuing their crankset this year ala no more will be made once they sell out.
Not enough margin even at its high price; a show-off piece of their manufacturing prowess.

Considering a Phil bottom bracket, crank arm bolts, mud guards and two BB tools are included, the asking price really isn't that wacky.

We've had a lot of people asking about them so I'm sure the sets we've reserved will sell out quick.

Your house is as clean and sensible as your bikes.

You are welcome here, be at your ease
Go to bed when you are ready and get up when you please.

Happy to share with you such as we've got
the leak in the roof, the soup in the pot.

You don't have to thank us or laugh at our jokes.
Sit deep and come often, you're one of the folks.

We should all be so lucky to deserve such a compliment :thumb:

I could say the same of myself, but it wouldn't exactly be a compliment.

Just acquired Felt Brougham. I wasn't looking for another bike, but for $130 couldn't turn it down.
That's a bargain here in Toronto.

How much are those sets?

Also, I thought they just started making them available again? They're stopping production (again)?

Just snapped up this 2013 Bianchi Pista for $300 brand new:D. It had been hanging up in my LBS for sometime. I changed the bars, headset, and pedals. I have some grips coming in the mail.

I used to have those wheels, stem, seatpost, spacers, chainring, cog, cranks and fork.

$300 is pretty good price.

Where did the brakes go?

I think the brakes are in a bin at the bike shop with other parts I didn't want. Thanks for the keen observation.

Fixed with no foot retention is pretty edgy, no?

Edgy? Not at all. Dumb? Very.

Yeah, but people make their own decisions and everyone has to learn.

I see no reason to use the word dumb and turn the guy into my enemy. We have gumwalls, tread vs slick and bar grips for that.

More flies with honey, etc.

Well, at least the headset is not upside down.

I've never liked that saying. You catch the MOST flies with a steaming heap of dung.

Yup. Or a rotting cadaver.

Upside down headsets are so 2016. Cotton vs. Lycra is where it's at in 2017.
