Doesn't really rain in the Bay Area so its all dry dusty courses around here, and when it does rain, the mud doesn't really stick so discs aren't really necessary. Aesthetically, I prefer the look of mini v/cantilevers to discs anyways, so thats another plus. I also get to use wheels that I already have around because I don't have to put discs on them.

The only geared bike I own.
Pick is from a 500 mile tour around the North half of Lake Michigan in August. Search it in the touring forum if interested.

Think I have this sold so we went on a farewell ride and am giving it one last posting here...

That Appaloosa is so tuff looking!
I would ride that thing anywhere: commute to work, crawl around on some of our local singletrack trails, haul it to Moab and ride Slickrock, hook up my cargo trailer full of camping gear and pedal to Wyoming... anywhere.
You're making me want to spruce up my old StumpJumper for better comfort and utility. Of course, it will never be nice as that. (If only because it has but one top tube!)

Setback post went on along with a 120mm stem instead of straight post x 130mm stem. I have an enve post on the way

Looks great! I need to find a 120mm enve stem before my Cannondale arrives in November. My 100mm just isn't going to cut it on the smaller frame.

Yeah the downside was that I had to drive through St. Pete and Clearwater at rush hour, which took a couple years off my life I think.

Got some better pictures of it today. I think I'll replace the stem first because the reach is a little too far for me. Did a shakedown ride this morning after tuning it up last night and everything seems to be in place - the ride is really nice and it feels more aggressive than my Salsa, but I haven't seen a geometry chart or anything.
