Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

As cool as they look and as expensive as they are, they aren't salvageable in event of a crash.

Haha, I always wanted a pair, came close to buying a used pair, but that was right around the time that they stopped existing, so I never went through with it.

Likewise but new, I ended up buying that orange santa cruz 5010 that I had posted instead.

If I bought a set, I'd had gotten the entry aluminum 5010 with deore, not the carbon CC that had X01 eagle 11.

Bikes: 1x10 Raleigh Tripper / random fixed townie

Changed up some bits to the Steamroller, making it reasonably functional and fun.

Still waiting to pick up a 47t AARN chainring.

Pedalroom

Bikes: Wheeler custom fixed gear

Love the subtle browns on the cambium and the bars. Are they twine wrapped?

edit: never mind that's just some cork tape right?
