Ananta Cogs, are they good? I saw a build with them recently and a really nice build and wanted to find out more saw their webbity site, saw the thing was like ok, Ti-Nitride coating and up to 18 tooths, I can dig it. Wondering if anyone has used them and can say anything about them?
I am not so worried about price, that is least of the concerns unless you believe it is junk and not worth much of anything but expensive and just buying it to buy it, I can deal with that. I have long wanted to go 75s and Zen chainring and do a blingier drivetrain on something.

My issue is EAI never got back to me on EPs, if you have any knowledge about that PM me? They answered a question a while back but never said anything about EPs.

Never owned a real bike jersey. I have a few "tech" fabric t-shirts, but I would like to buy a few cycling jerseys. What is a good brand for the money? There seems so many of them...

I've never paid full price for a jersey because I only buy them on sale at sites like Nashbar, Steep and Cheap, etc. In general, I've found Louis Garneau apparel to be pretty decent for its price point.

Same here, I ride what's cheap or free. As long as I stay in good standing with my racing team I get free clothing and race reimbursement.
I've used Pactimo, Champ Sys., Voler, Pearl Izumi and some of the generic brands that @seau grateau mentioned. It all seems equally crappy to me. Again, it's all been lower end offerings or mid grade at best.
I've never forked out for a high end jersey so I can't comment on those.
My advice is to go to a LBS or like a Performance Bike or something and see if they have a clearance or defect bin. If they do, find something the right size and buy it if it isn't hideously ugly.

I don't mind spending money on high-end gear if I think it is going to last many years and shop the typical websites all the time.
Backcountry (Competitive Cyclist), Wiggle, Ribble, Merlin, Chain Reaction, Jenson USA, etc., just going through the inventory looking for discounts on high quality gear. It is a lot of clicking but every once in a while something stands out, like last year's $140 merino jersey for $49 or something like that.
Currently looking for nobibs this way. I know that $20 Castelli shorts are out there if I click enough.

Campagnolo Strada single crankset
Anyone know anything definitive about these? In particular I'm curious:
1) Whether I'll have any compatibility issues
2) What bb to use
Here's the front; the back.
Don't know much yet about Campy stuff in general (and their product naming confuses the heck out of me), so no information is too basic.

Are you in possession of the crank or is it something you are considering buying?
Are you just trying to determine which taper and length spindle you need? If it's old, check in the C&V forum. There are quite few walking encyclopedias in there.

scoho - Strada crankarms will have STRADA stamped on the insides of them, and Pista crankarms will have PISTA stamped on the insides of them. You can forget all the other stuff.

specialized stuff has fit me better than any other brand i've ever worn. they make decently priced apparel, too. kinda sucks, cause i'm not a fan of the big red S.

We sell, or have sold Louis Garneau, Pearl Izumi, Canari and DeSoto and I can say that between all these brands Garneau is hands down the best. The fit, construction and materials are far superior to the others, often with a lower price point.
Pearl Izumi makes decent shorts, but their jerseys are probably the worst materials I've seen.

Lots of FC-7600 if you are willing to use a square taper BB. You would also need a chainring separately.
I know little about this crankset other than the fact that they exist.

Is there any other kind?
For some reason, almost all of the 165mm's disappeared recently though, and the price on the remaining ones went way up. The absolute price doesn't really matter, but they were selling about $30 cheaper (holding quality steady) earlier this year, so my brain is irrationally set on that earlier price and pouting.
Anyway, I think I decided I want to keep all my cranks interchangeable, so I'll probably pick up some used 7600's I found at a different seller. Not having to change out any bottom brackets is nice, plus I hate riding things that I'm worried about messing up.

If you do a little searching, you'll also find several people, including one fairly strong track sprinter, who say there's basically no noticeable difference in stiffness between Campy and other high-end cranks.
