Masi Uno/Sram Omnium

Just wondering if anyones tried to put Sram Omniums on a Masi Uno ?

I've heard that the chainring hits the chainstay with the standard 48t chainring.

Just wonder if i fit a 46t chainring if this will solve the problem ???

Help please HELP

Usually the problem with Omniums is the spider arms hitting the frame, not the chainring. If the frame really can't fit a 48t ring, I'd stay away from it.
