Will this chainring work with SRAM omnium?

Hello there,

Would this chainring work with the SRAM omnium crankset?

It is a Shimano FC-7710 Dura Ace Track Chainring.

Thanks!

Installing a Shimano DA chainring on a SRAM Omnium crankarm is a crime against humanity.

Who cares? I've seen it a number of times at the track.

I never realised that TT was a brand Nazi. Is this some deeply hidden secret that accidentally surfaced?

OP the thing to look for is a thing called BCD = https://www.sheldonbrown.com/gloss_bo-z.html. The magic number is 144 for omniums; any chainring with a BCD of that will fit although I've heard with earlier omniums the stock bolts are shorter than standard and might have to be replaced when using an alternate ring.

Does an omnium chainring on a 7710 crank make it all better by canceling it out?

No, that's even worse. It's an abomination.
