Track bike frame size

is track bike frame size different than a standard road bike frame size (for the average person)

i ride a 54 on the road but used a borrowed 56 on the track a few weeks ago and liked it.

Depends on what you are going to be using the bike for. if it's going to be a do-everything bike for you, and getting on the track is just going to be occasional, then size it similarly to your road bike. As track races tend to be fairly short, most racers opt for a more aggressive position that is longer and lower.
