Thanks to everyone who came out on only a few days notice. Definately had a great time bringing up the rear. Cant wait until next week to do it again. Anyone who was thinking of coming out and didnt should try to make it next week.
Also, It was definately nice to finally put some faces to screen names.
See you all next monday!

didn't get out there yesterday, but I'm heading out to the park in about 15 mins.
gotta do something with that lunch hour...anyone else with a little time to kill, head on out..
[edit: spent a good hour or so today doing the big loop & then the bandshell - they had a sound system set up there today, piping out classical, made for some very chill stands & skids. Wish I could do this for lunch every day.
Anybody work in the area and wants to head out during the week for 2-wheeled lunch, let's do it.]

The race were fun tonight. Too bad more people didn’t show. We had 4 turnout and I was graced with free PowerAde and a smoothie. The race finished with noumena9 mistaking the finish, which let me attack and win it (I defiantly wouldn’t have been able to take him otherwise). So tonight’s race finished myself in first, noumena9 and gnawa finishing together very soon after. So lets try and get some more people out next week.

meh. I'm such an idiot. You guys would have killed me at the end anyway. I attacked because I thought we were almost done. It is so much fun to feel like you're all out of juice and totally beaten down for like 15 minutes and then all of a sudden have enough to attack. The dynamics of these races is really interesting to me.
But to reiterate: it would be more fun with more people. Not that I minded a nice, brisk ride with gnawa (I owe you at least a poweraide, btw) monsterlegs and Ceya, but it would be totally boss to have a 15-20 rider field. Come on -- you know you want to. Everyone should come out to Prospect Park on Thursday. It'll be fun!
(BTW: avoid Atlantic and 4th Ave in Brooklyn. The whole intersection and Atlantic Ave on both sides is one giant oil slick. Believe me -- I know!)
