And how much would this 49cm Soma Pake cost one who is perhaps interested in buying it? Trackstar doesn't list the Pake frame on there website other than in their news section. Thanks! Oh, and is this a complete bike or frame and fork only?

The Pake frame and fork goes for $280.
Atleast, that's what I paid for mine.

do you know what is a pursuit frame? that PAKE at Trackstar is not one.

look up Terry bikes and you will see she makes similar frames for small females..650 front and 700 rear.

That Sannino pursuit/TT frame at Trackstar looked sweet... first time in the shop yesterday, people were friendly.

I was there too. so you seen the Pake there in the corner also..thanks for the complement on the Sannino. That Sannino style or SLOPING TOPE TUBE was made famous by Francesco Moser in 1983.

Really gorgeous. I imagine that's going to make a fine frame for someone, though I'm curious how comfortable it'd be to ride something with that sort of angles regularly. I know there are people that do it, but youch.

Is there any benefits running a 650 in the front? or 650 for both front and rear?

I just bought a pake to replace my GT that was stolen a little while ago, bought it at College Park Cycles in Maryland. My impression is that its imported by Soma but not actually produced by it. Mine came with a 700 front wheel, it doesn't strike me that its a persuit frame, mine doesn't have that huge slope.

It strikes me that the geometry is just basic track geometry. Its a light frame, thin tubing and rides great- cheap too. Can post pictures in a little while.

It's not a pursuit frame.

Despite the "fabrication" in their name, SOMA doesn't make any of their own stuff. It's all SOMA designed and Taiwanese fabbed.

the reading comprehension in this thread is killing me!

yes! i know what a pursuit frame is.

No! the pake isnt one...

but... yes!.. it had 2 different size wheels... giving the top tube a little slope (i was disagreeing with you ceya, saying it had 650s on it.. whe in fact fromm what i saw.. i believe it only had one 650 on it)

and NO! stop posting pics of the stupid frame.. it was asked to post the specific bike in question...several times.. we know what the frame looks like...

im sorry i ever posted about the bike.. how about we just forget about the whole thing
