Also, SugarPILL - I like the way you've plugged the bars. How'd you do it? |

Wow, sounds so nice I'd only ride it on the track, atleast with that Kashimax on it... otherwise sweet bike. Samson's are my favorite NJS frames me thinks, very nice details / low key looks.
|
Nah, it'll be a street bike. It wil get beat up pretty well I'm sure. I think I'll build a Concept, or something Aluminum for the Track. I was thinking about a BMC Track Machine to match my BMC ProMachine road bike....not sure though. Money is not allowing! I just bought a race-mobile Volvo V70 R to get me to my road races, so the on-track bike will have to wait.

holy geez..no wonder money isn't allowing.

I really need to get to work on my panasonic. It's got really old Dura-Ace stuff on it now and I am commuting on it. I got the bike in a strange state of repair: rotten bar tape, maladjusted front derailleur, flat tires with a ton of goopy stuff on the side, looks to be punk repair or something strange like that.
I really want to strip the frame down (has a lot of nicks and scratches) repaint and then build it up as a fixie with an aerospoke front wheel or keep the dura ace wheelset on there. It definitely needs some new tires, new bar tape at LEAST and a good solid cleaning. I've been too busy lately to really give it love or even ride much :( I'm a noob, too, and my work schedule is hectic lately. |
Was that a joke?

Here's my Anchor: "buttercup." She's not perfect but boy o'boy am I smitten with her. Try if you can (I know it will be hard) to ignore the old pedals with plastic cages. I plan to replace those with Custom Nuevos and Kashimax straps. I'm also thinking of swapping out the drops with bullhorns while I learn to skid. By the end of the week, she'll have a shiny new Fi'zi:k Vitesse saddle (so sad). I have grandiose notions of putting on a Suntour Superbe Pro drivetrain (chainring, cranks, pedals, I already have the cog). No other modifications planned for now. Oh, except to take the decals off the rear wheel (front is already done)...

UGH....SO just got word from teh anodized yesterday...the cranks/chainring would not accept the anodize....do they are gonna be silver....gey. Anyhow, the bike will still have gold bars, stem, post, rims, etc....it will still be awesome! I'll have pics by Friday at the latest...the parts shipped today..and will be on my doorstep on Friday!
