Why the hell do some NJS builders use a 27mm seat tube, others a 27.2mm and still others a 26.8mm?
Anyone?

different tube sizes for different rider weights is my guess. i've had 3 njs frames, all of which were 27.0.

Well ive noticed that all Nagasawa frames that ive seen are 27mm. All Panasonics are 26.8. And ive had 4 Makino frames and they were all 27.2mm.
Varying sizes of frames.

So, yeah, that 58.5 3rensho on Keirin Culture is mocking me, but **** paying over a G for a used frame.

not every one is the same size DH. some are bigger, some are smaller, but all deserve to be accepted just the way they are.

$1350 for a frame that has a dented top tube and is in this condition is just insane. 3rensho or not.

I guess the price is a small hurdle for most buyers.

$1350 for a used NJS frame is kind of crazy. But scratched, rusted, AND dented?

Get a new Kalavinka for that price.

it's funny because he's been trying to sell it for so long. needs to be dropped to 1,000, and that makino sprint frame needs to drop to 700.

hey, what's the biggest wheel size you can generally fit into a keirin frame?
Is 25c still ok, front wheel clearance on that Nagasawa above seems tight.

tire-to-tube clearance depends on frame, and for rear wheel how far it's back in the dropout. i've gotten 25s on fine, but i generally don't ride anything higher than that.

I see, thanks.

I'm on a lookout for a nice frameset but I would need to be able to put 25c Gatorskins on it in order for the tubes and wheels to survive the streets around here.
