I just finished Allende's Of Love and Shadows for class.... Ughhhh... I did read Siddhartha before that though, which was nice and basically pushed me over the edge into becoming an vagitarianz.

Re-starting Natsume Soseki's Kokoro after an absence of a few months. Good so far, I'm glad to pick it up again.

I'm about halfway through Demon by John Varley, the third book in the Titan trillogy. It's a pretty damn good series if you like sci-fi.
I just started Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer (who wrote Into Thin Air). It is a juxtaposition of two stories: the formation and evolution of the LDS or Mormon church, and a modern-day double murder committed by fundamentalist Mormons

If you liked Into Thin Air, check out Krakauer's Into the Wild. It's about a totally unprepared college student who just wandered off into the wilds of Alaska. It's a pretty insane story.
If you're into mountaineering literature, check out On the Ridge Between Life and Death: A Climbing Life Reexamined by David Roberts.

CONAN!
Great book. Classic sword & sorcery. The great thing about Conan is that he's not a heroic shining light. He's a rough character, with honest, selfish intentions. His main concerns are gold, women and battle. A true anti-hero! I love it.
About to start Stephen King's Gunslinger series. Read a bit of it ages ago and have been meaning to re-read for a long time.
