Thank you for the kind comments and advice.. As of right now i am home bound for a bit...

Chaz i did go to Norman regional, and at first they thought it was a reoccurence of epididymitis. I was issued a shot and a prescription and sent h ome. the nextm orning i went back and after an ultra sound they discovered it was torsion and my testicle had died. They removed it, the right.

The two incidents were unrelated according to docs.. just bad luck.

I intend to head to an lbs soon enough to ask about options. I am home for the summer in houston and just waiting. I am going to try about different saddles and what not. I am seeing a urologist to hopefully save some chance at having children someday. Im 20 and was hoping for some eventually.

Thanks for al the advice guys. I will probably get back on a bike. Its all i want to do really. just probably leisure instead of race.

But ill lose all trackstand contests now cause im unbalanced.... thats bull****. lol

damn i could have sworn i had posted earlier, sorry to hear the bad news Jamtastic. Best of luck finding a way back on the bike without anymore pain/damage. there are plenty of kids looking for foster parents if you cant have any children of your own.

tell your lazy doctor to get off his ass and bust out the scalpel.
My son (10 YO and an avid swimmer) had a surgery correcting and preventing a reoccurence of a testicular torsion ten days ago. He insists on swimming again this week. When I grow up, I hope to be as hardcore as he is.

One side, usually happening to the left testicle, pain aside, is no big deal except for the need of a surgery within 4 hours. Both entangled at the same time are way more difficult to fix.

The doctors pointed to the evidence that any physical activty can cause it to it and while allowing swiming when stitches dissolve, banned biking for the month.

Well it was an emergency, so I understand you had to go local. I'm glad you are seeing a specialist in Houston though.

Man, I hope things work out for you. Lance is a 1-****** and he's one of the most successful cyclists in the world. Haha.

Deeaam Jam,
Like mentioned above, have some of the little swimmers frozen.
Hope you find a workable solution to keep you cycling.

One of those hand-cranked bicycles should pose no threat.

Jam,
Sorry I'm late to respond, haven't been on much this weekend.
If the specialist says the bike is alright, and you want em the rollers are still yours
(I'll deliver, ask Mchaz!)
as Mchaz says Lance is a ********* and look what he did (hey maybe you and cheryl could hook up).
