Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

pretty much. everything i do is in flash and damn near everything i draw i either draw out first on paper and scan or start with a base image that already exists. i have the worst line control ever with a wacom tablet. i hate how it feels like drawing on glass.

anyway, this was probably my most blatant use of google image search reappropriation. bonus points for naming the bike, wrestler and non-traced artwork

as was said, i believe the 2 year project is the car.

and even if he means the illustration... big deal? why does it matter to you if he's worked on it for 2 years? can't we all just get along?

congrats on the first negative comment in this thread, by the way.

thanks, i suppose, haha.

like i said, i wasn't trying to be rude but it probably was. my apologies, i didn't mean to offend anyone. i just don't understand how that could take 2 years and the end result doesn't look to be worth it to me, whether it's the illustration or the car. but to each their own.

xylo 'n brandune win.

i used the locust theme because i figured it was really easy to recognize. most people don't see it though. something more iconic would have worked better, but i'm still pretty happy with it.

so, a little more than 20 minutes. its pretty clean linework, though, even if its just tracing and rendering an image.
I have seen this and like it very much. Your work is remarkable and memorable. Thanks.

spent countless hours glueing matchsticks to this project. I just need to finish up the sides and coat it and it will be finished and playable.
